Nice Airport Trains
The excellent geographical location of Nice makes it an easily accessible destination not only by air but by land and sea alike. The closest airport is Nice Cote d’Azur Airport which makes it easier for you to explore the city of Nice and its surrounding areas fully. Passengers who arrive at Nice airport like to continue their journey further through a number of ways among which getting to by train is also an affordable option. The train stations are well connected to several major cities in Italy along with certain smaller towns.
There are two train stations near Nice airport including Nice St Augustine Railway station that is the closest to the airport and Nice train station is the other main station. Regular services connect these two stations to the airport perfectly which makes getting to by train much easier. Both of the terminals at Nice airport consist of various buses to different routes where you can also find a bus to the train station. You can catch Bus 99 that travels from Platform 1 of Terminal 1 to Nice station and departs from Platform 4 of Terminal 2. The buses contain space for your luggage too and a bus trip is of 30 minutes.
If you want to reach at Nice ST Augustine Railway Station then you will be required to take bus 23 from Platform 6 of Terminal 1. But you need to keep in mind that there are no racks for luggage storage in these buses so it might be difficult for you to travel by it if you have an excessive baggage. This station is only 500 meters away from Terminal 1 of Nice airport. The Nice station is itself a place worth watching with its grand clock and richly decorated balconies. Some renovations have also been made to the building despite its preservations for accommodating high-speed trains.
